Bio
Diving into the local music scene in the Chicago suburbs in 1996, Alex Uridel performed his first show at the famous Riley's Rock House in Downtown Aurora, IL in 1999 with his then band 16oz (Sixteen Ounces) later changed to simply "The Ounces". Alex went on to perform over 500 shows in the US including East Coast and Mid-West tours.
Guitarist/Bassist/Songwriter for Chicago bands such as Numb, A Texas Funeral, O Glorious Leader, Demolisher (Century Media Records), The Streets (US), Red River.
Sharing the stage with national acts such as Veil Of Maya, Oceano, Chimaira, DJ StarScream (Sid Wilson of Slipknot), Butcher Babies, Norma Jean, As Blood Runs Black, Rose Funeral, 36 Crazyfists, A Dozen Furies, God Forbid, Taproot, Calico System; to name a few.
Performing at some super awesome venues such as House of Blues (Chicago), Metro (Chicago), Bottom Lounge (Chicago), Logan Square Auditorium (Chicago), Quad City Live (Davenport, IA), Expo Gardens (Peoria, IL), The Rave - Eagles Ballroom (Milwaukee, WI), Alley Katz (Richmond, VA), The Emerson Theatre (Indianapolis, IN), The Machine Shop (Flint, MI), The Note (West Chester, PA), Big Shots (Valparaiso, IN), The Back Bar (Janesville, WI), The Meat Locker (Montclaire, NJ).
